Join Coast Injury Medicine, OSIC, and the WSCA for a comprehensive, medical-legal seminar featuring an array of expert providers and attorneys.  Topic details coming soon, but this event is designed for providers and attorneys alike.  6.5 CEs will be available for chiropractors and we are applying for approval of 6.5 MCLE credits for attorneys.

Service Animal Policy

The WSCA seeks to create an environment conducive to learning at its continuing education programs. Although service animals are always welcome, pets, companion, and other non-service animals will not be permitted at WSCA events. Attendees who bring such animals into our events will be asked to leave them outside, or alternatively, leave the event and no refund will be issued.

Dr. Brian Chan, a native of Kent, WA, is a second-generation chiropractor. He received his chiropractic degree from Palmer College Of Chiropractic in San Jose, CA, where he graduated with honors and cum laude in 2002. He attended Brigham Young University in Provo, UT for his undergraduate studies. Although Dr. Chan loved the warm sunny Californian weather, he was happy to move home to Seattle to join the practice with his brother and father.

As a chiropractor, Dr. Chan's specialty includes the treatment and management of work-related and whiplash injuries. He spends many weekends attending continuing education in the fields of whiplash treatment and work injury management. In 2009, he became a graduate of the Spine Research Institute Of San Diego's Whiplash And Brain Injury Traumatology program, which offers the most in-depth, science-based training available today covering the entire spectrum from the physics of motor vehicle crashs to human biomechanics to diagnostic and management. In 2010, he completed the Advanced Certification in Whiplash and Brain Injury Traumatology, the highest achievement offered by the Spine Research Institute of San Diego. He is an active member of the Washington State Chiropractic Association.

Kyle Osborne, was born and raised in Snohomish, Washington. He has spent most of his professional career coordinating treatment for injured patients. Kyle is very excited about the services this clinic is able to provide for those injured in accidents.

Kyle is married and has 3 young children. He enjoys spending his time with his family, going on hikes, golfing and enjoying the beauty of the pacific northwest. After living in 3 different states during college he always knew this is where he wanted to raise his family.

Dr. Kinder strives to create a positive and mutually rewarding relationship with his co-workers and patients in order to provide the best care possible.  He has a special interest in advanced interventional techniques, and optimizing multidisciplinary support in a personalized, safe, effective, and evidence-based manner.  He believes that when somebody lives with pain, it is important to identify the goals, and then work together with the patient to design a multimodal plan focused on improving overall quality of life and returning to function.

Dr. Kinder is a fellowship trained Interventional Pain Specialist who is double board-certified in Pain Medicine and Anesthesiology.  He was born and raised in Eastern Washington before moving to Seattle to attend the University of Washington, where he completed his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry.  After earning his Doctor of Medicine degree at the Chicago Medical School, he returned to Seattle to complete his medical training at Virginia Mason, where he gained experience at such institutions as Swedish, Seattle Children’s Hospital, and Harborview Medical Center.

Dr. Kinder has presented at several national meetings on topics including medical care efficiency, and management of complications from both anesthesia and interventional pain procedures.  He was first author on the book chapter teaching advanced nerve block techniques in the best-selling textbook, Manual of Clinical Anesthesiology as well as an updated and revised version released in 2020.  He authored a book review of the textbook Acute Pain Management, which was published in the journal Regional Anesthesia and Pain Management (RAPM).  Dr. Kinder was instrumental in reinstating the previously defunct Resident Section of the Washington State Society of Anesthesiologists (WSSA) and served as the President from 2010-11.   He enjoys continuing to keep up with the latest and most advanced pain management options for his patients.

He has spent more than the last decade providing Pain Management in the Pacific Northwest and was the Medical Director of the Interventional Pain Clinic at Adventist Medical Center and member of the Opioid Task Force until early 2020.

In his spare time Dr. Kinder likes to spend quality time with his wife, two daughters and friends.  He enjoys reading, taking in the great outdoors through backpacking, camping, electric skateboarding, watersports, and supporting the Seahawks.  He will “Always Compete” to provide the best care possible.
